Fishing

Yellowstone Park has been known as a perfect place for fishing for over a century. There are a lot of rare fish, such as cutthroat trout or westslope cutthroat trout. However, there are fees for fishing. Anglers 16 years or older have to purchase a permit, which may allow you to fish from three days to a whole season. A three days permit costs $15 while a seven days permit costs $20. However, it is much affordable to buy a permit for the whole season, which costs only $35. Children aged from 12 to 15 are required to obtain a permit, which hasn't got any price. Children aged 11 or younger don't need any permit as long as they have an adult's supervision.

Hiking

Hiking is a very popular activity in Yellowstone Park. It is popular for its wilderness areas, in fact, there are 1,100 miles (around 1770 km) of wilderness areas that are available for hiking. But you must be very careful as there can occur some problems, such as wild animals, changing weather or cold water lakes. There are not many lifeguards on the wilderness areas, so you are responsible for any situation. And there is no guarantee for your safety, so make sure to choose safe paths.

Biking

Once you visit Yellowstone Park, you will see that there are a lot of cyclists. This is because there are special roads and paths, and also that you enjoy the views while biking.
